面向远程沟通的虚拟触觉体验设计策略研究

摘要:
目的 随着远程触觉信息传输和接收技术的广泛应用,探讨虚拟触觉的设计策略,以提高远程沟通中的用户体验。方法 梳理现有触觉感知理论,厘清触觉双系统与人际接触的对应关系,重点分析虚拟触觉作为人际关系交往的“元感觉”为远程沟通提供的关键触觉内容。结果 提出虚拟触觉体验的四层次模型,逐层分析具体的虚拟触觉内容及其对应关系。以一款触觉通信设备为案例,自上而下进行触觉语言分析,以促进社会沟通为愿景,从社会到心理意象再通过身体参与,找到承载触觉意义的具体对象以及对象的新功能,进而总结设计策略。结论 虚拟触觉作为介入远程沟通的手段,有助于实现“触觉在场”的场景化用户体验,弥补数字社交中触觉“缺场”的遗憾,满足人们在远程社交互动中对情感交流的需求,为日益增长的远程沟通领域提供了新路径。

Virtual Haptic Experience Design for Remote Communication

Abstract:
The technology for remotely transmitting and receiving haptic information is gaining popularity. The work aims to discuss the design strategy for virtual haptics to enhance user experiences in remote communication. A review of existing theories on tactile perception was conducted to clarify the relationship between the tactile dual system and interpersonal tactile senses. Additionally, the potential for tactile sensation was analyzed to serve as the "meta-sense" of human emotional interaction. A four-level model of virtual tactile experience was presented to delve into specific virtual tactile content and their corresponding relationships layer by layer. Using a haptic communication device as an illustration, a top-down haptic language analysis was carried out. With the promotion of social communication as a vision, from social to psychological images and through physical participation, specific objects bearing tactile meaning and new functions of objects were found out and then design strategies were summarized. Virtual haptics, as an intervention in remote communication, holds promise in realizing a sense of "tactile presence", mitigating the absence of haptic feedback in digital social interactions, addressing emotional needs in remote social engagement, and charting a new course for evolving remote communication paradigms.
