Abstract: |
With the enlightenment of significant differences of usages between mobile phone and computer, form the perspective of cognitive psychology of users and practice of mobile phone graphical user interface design, it discussed how to enhance the visibility of mobile phone in five ways: the size (pixels) of icon, the shape of icon, the different cognitive features of three different kinds of icon (symbolic icon, indexical icon, iconic icon), the icon design rhetoric of applying metaphor according to the real world, and the relationship between the aesthetics of icon and the understanding of icon. |
