Abstract: |
The number of young people living alone is increasing, and they tend to have quick meals through fast food or take-out. To change the unhealthy eating habits of these young people, the work aims to propose the design of intelligent cooking appliances that are convenient, quantified, and integrated in functionality, to simplify cooking processes and encourage healthier eating habits. Firstly, user needs for intelligent cooking appliances were collected through market research and user interviews. The collected data were then classified and organized through the KJ method. Subsequently, the KANO questionnaire was adapted to analyze the need attributes to gain a deeper understanding of user needs. Secondly, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) theory was introduced to construct a hierarchical structure model and calculate the importance of different attributes to determine their relative importance. Finally, based on this information, conceptual designs were proposed to develop reasonable solutions in line with user needs. The results of the design practice indicate that this method is beneficial to clarifying user needs and obtaining priority rankings accurately, providing an effective guideline for the design of intelligent cooking appliances, thereby enhancing the rationality of design solutions. |
